What is a friend? I will tell you… it is someone with whom you dare to be yourself.
A friend is one who knows us, but loves us anyway.
Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow; Don't walk behind me, I may not lead; Walk beside me, and just be my friend.
Friendship is a pretty full-time occupation if you really are friendly with somebody. You can't have too many friends because then you're just not really friends.
The rule of friendship means there should be mutual sympathy between them, each supplying what the other lacks and trying to benefit the other, always using friendly and sincere words.
Friendship without self-interest is one of the rare and beautiful things of life.
Friendship is genuine when four friends can enjoy each others company without speaking a word to one another.
